Home-price growth increased by 11.1% with an average home price of $249,900 in Atlanta between 2019 and 2020, the report noted.

Per Mynd, year-over-year home price appreciation in 2019 and 2020 for metro real estate markets across the country, noted home-price appreciation growth has shifted away from coastal areas to more suburban communities. Buyers want to be outside of the Metro areas where there is less congestion.
