Fear the Woods

Haunt opens Friday, September 28, 2018. Hours of operation are every weekend in October; Fridays and Saturdays 7pm-12am; Sundays 7pm-11pm and  October 31st from 7pm -12am for Halloween.

Fear the Woods is a professional haunt that has consistently been ranked one of the top haunted places to go in Georgia for the last five years.  Don’t wander too far from the light as Uncle Eddie has invited new creatures to come feast on the screams of those that come to the farm after dark.  

This haunt consist of three different features: The Haunted House, a place where all your psychological fears are revealed; the Haunted Trail, where you have to find your way back after being dropped off in the middle of the woods and corn with the skinner family; and Pandemic, our NEW 8,000 square foot interactive, competitive, combat field where your skills determine your fate.

Netherworld Haunted House

Netherworld Haunted House is the mack daddy of haunted houses. It’s been consistently rated one of the best haunted house in the US  by Hauntworld magazine since 2009. The sets are professionally done, and the actors are very good. I met The Collector under bright lights and he was creepy, I can’t image meeting him in a dark room. The website has good photos so visit there to see what you’re getting into. They also have a creepy Escape Room.

13 Stories Haunted House

Season Starts: Sept. 28 – Nov. 3, 2018

13 Stories Haunted House is 54,000 square feet of horror and exhilaration that consists of the haunted houses with the option of joining forces to fight the zombie horde in The Apocalypse Zombie Kill Experience (laser tag)!  The haunts are 13 Stories Haunted House, Ward B, and Clown Town. There is also the Sacrifice Extreme Haunt.  Inside Sacrifice there is extreme content and the monsters can actually touch you.  You must sign a waiver to enter Sacrifice.  Visit their website for discount coupons for select evenings.

Paranoia Haunt

Containment Haunted House

The zombie apocalypse has arrived Containment Haunted House and you are right in the middle of the action. See if you can survive to navigate your way through a series of shipping containers that bring you to safety. Those 13 and younger must be accompanied by a parent.

Bet you’ve never thought ‘where is a haunted forest near me?’ Zombie Farms is a 1/2 mile walk through a dark and spooky haunted forest filled with zombies and other characters who will scare you, entertain you, and sometimes even make you laugh. This year’s theme is the Witch of Winterville.

Haunted Forest is a great haunted “house” for kids. It’s more of a haunted forest/corn maze, but it’s awesome! This is located at the Buford Corn Maze and is worth every penny. Make sure you take the time to check it out.

Ghost Train

There are two Ghost trains. The family time train is 6 pm – 7 pm and the fright train (designed for older kids and adults) begins after sunset.

Fearopolis

Fearopolis is a fun activity for kids and it’s at the Funopolis Family Fun Center in Commerce, Georgia. A lot of families come here to do a slight introduction to haunted house with their kids. This is not an overwhelming experience and something your kids may just love.
